For all classes, warmups such as wraps and leg warmers are allowed, but must be shed after barre.
*Dancers are allowed two “Oops!” each semester. These are passes if the dancer is unprepared with the dress code/hair. (I get it, life can be crazy -- we forgot the leotard in the washer, bag in the wrong car, etc.) If a dancer has utilized their two “Oops!”, then they will be asked to sit and observe class. This builds self-respect and discipline for the art form. Being prepared for any sport, class, or activity shows pride, respect, and self-care. Parents will be informed if their dancer was asked to sit out of class, along with a collaborative discussion on how to successfully prepare the dancer for their remaining classes.
-
Respect for oneself, peers, and teachers are expected at all times. Respect for the historical building, its grounds and staff is also a common curtesy. If the space is disrespected with trash, shouting, or disruptions, dancers will be asked to sit class. Parents are also reminded to be kind and respectful with the staff and students. Discipline and resilience take time to build. Studio Relevé’s priority is creating a safe, kind, supportive, and creative environment.

No gum.
Jewelry is allowed but if it becomes a distraction, dancers will be asked to remove it.
Water bottles with water only. Any sports drink or soda will be placed in the lobby until class is over.
Only clean shoes allowed on the floor for respect for the dancers attire and the building.
All dancers must be potty trained.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to class and no later than 5 minutes for pickup. We are a guest of Old Stoney and need to respect the grounds and time allotted for the studio.
No loitering or “goofing around” in the building.
Quiet voices are appreciated for the duration of class as well as pick up and drop off exchanges.
Snow days will be posted on social media. Make up days will be scheduled as needed.
If a student receives multiple warnings, they may be asked to sit and observe class. This provides an opportunity to reset, reflect, and re-engage with the expectations of the studio.
Parents or guardians will be informed if this occurs, and we will work together to support the student in developing the focus and preparation needed for a positive class experience.

Each class will host a winter showcase displaying what they have learned in the fall semester. Time and date will fall on each last scheduled dance day prior to Christmas break.
To avoid distractions for the dancers, parents are welcome to view class on designated observation days only. Parents may hang out in the lobby of the 3rd floor or dressing room if available. Go ahead, get an hour of your time to relax, listen to an audiobook, catch up on texts and calls to family and friends.
Please be prompt in dropping off and picking up your dancers. If your dancers are late or not attending, they can’t learn!
If dancers miss class, tuition will not be adjusted. Make up classes are recommended if a dancer misses more than 2 classes each semester.

From time to time, photos or videos may be taken during class or performances for promotional purposes.
If you prefer that you or your student not be included in media, please notify the studio in writing.
